This place hit hurst right for us on vacation in the outer banks. The service was swift, polite, and attentive. The happy hour specials were great, cheap apps were excellent. I thought the peel and eat shrimp were great. Worth a visit if you are in town. The burger and sandwiches we had were also definitely above the average fast casual place.

A great place! Happy Hour specials starting at 3 are awesome. $1 tacos and 25 cent shrimp. Sat at the bar for Sunday of the Masters and atmosphere was great! Bobbie waited on us at bar for like 6 hours and she was awesome!! A must visit!

You have to eat here!!!! every time we come down, we come here for their happy hour and it has never disappointed! It is always crowded (for good reason) so expect a wait. We love to sit at the upstairs bar while we wait. Service is friendly and very fast. For four adults, we ate for about $40 with food left over!

What a pleasant surprise, especially for Happy Hour. Being we have a timeshare in the area, we were shocked we didn't discover the "happy-hour" specials here. Great deal and quality for what you are getting. I am not knocking the rest of the menu but we are "happy-hour" fans and this was a lovely discovery. The staff was very friendly and all the people there were having a good time. We will make it a point to return each year we visit our timeshare.

This is my second time trying Hurricane MO's. Came in 2023 but just got a salad. This time I got the she-crab soup. It was creamy and very good! 9/10. Then I got the seared shrimp with Cole slaw and fries. I'm not a big French Fry fan, but they don't serve baked potatoes until after 4pm and we went for lunch. But I have to say, those were the best French Fries that I've had in a very long time. Crispy and seasoned to perfection! The Seared Shrimp was seasoned well and I used the jalapeno sauce that came with my husband's meal and it took it to another level. The Cole Slaw wasn't my favorite. But when you've had really good Cole slaw in your life, it's hard to compete with what you know. My husband got the OBX sampler. It had Tuna, Shrimp, and Mahi Mahi. It was all fried. He said it was great and fried just right. He also loved the French Fries. He got steamed veggies for his side and he said they were seasoned well and loved them. We will be back to try more things on the menu. Service was excellent even though they were busy.

Such a great lunch, our server, Holly was wonderful and very enjoyable, she's a keeper! Lunch was great, I ordered the Buffalo chicken strips, with Blue cheese dressing, good flavor and heat. My friend ordered the Sesame Salad was flavored well, crispy Chinese noodles on top with a spicy dressing. Overall excellent, recommend for a fun beachy atmosphere, after a day or morning on the beach.

We wanted to kick off our vacation with some seafood. I searched on Yelp and saw this restaurant listed as top four. There was a 30 minute wait time for a party of three on a Sunday night. There are some wooden benches outside to wait to be called. We actually walked to the beach (which was right across) while we waited to get the text message. The staff is very friendly and prompt. The food was good. Seafood tasted fresh.

We stopped in around 5:15 for dinner last night and were given a 45 minute wait. Only waited about 30 minutes to be seated. Our friendly efficient server brought out our drinks right away. We completely enjoyed our meals: CocoMo Mahi Bowl (x2), Seafood Virginia, Pan Seared Seafood Platter and Pepper Seared Tuna. The only item we did not enjoy was the Cole Slaw. The tartar sauce they make is DELICIOUS! ( I even ate it on my fries!!) The noise level is quite loud, but that's only to be expected when everyone is having a good time and the place is packed! GO!
